HACKER’S RUN · PRIVACY POLICY
Your garden, your progress, your choices.
Effective October 28, 2026 · Published by Treadway Interactive
This policy covers the Hacker’s Run Android game, including its optional rewarded advertising. For information about visits to this website, read our website privacy policy.
- Game progress and settings are stored on your device.
- No game account, purchases, or subscriptions are required.
- Rewarded ads are optional. Google processes advertising and technical data when advertising or consent features are used.
- You can manage ad choices and your age range in the game’s Options.
Game information stored on your device
The game saves your progress, scores, resources, robot stats, selected robot, appearance choices, tutorial progress, and preferences locally. It also stores your optional ad age range, privacy choices, and records needed to apply an earned ad reward once. We do not ask for your exact date of birth.
Hacker’s Run does not provide a game account or studio-operated cloud save service. We do not upload your saved garden, robot stats, or score history to a studio game server.
Optional rewarded ads
Hacker’s Run uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform for advertising and privacy choices. After the first defeat in a run, an eligible player may choose an ad for one continue or start a fresh free run. When that continued run ends, an eligible player may choose an ad for double run score or start again. Ads are not required for ordinary play.
When you use ad or advertising-privacy features, Google’s technology may process your IP address and general location inferred from it, ad and app interactions, performance and diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, including advertising or app-set identifiers where available. These support advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Available identifiers and processing depend on your age treatment, consent choices, device settings, and service configuration.
The game does not deliberately send your garden save, robot stats, or exact birthday to Google for advertising. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise device location for advertising. Advertising connections use encrypted transport. Google manages its own data handling and retention.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps and websites.
Age range and younger players
Hacker’s Run is marketed to a general gaming audience ages 13 and older. The optional ad controls offer under 13, 13–15, 16–17, and 18 or older, with an option to leave the age range unspecified. Unknown, declined, and under-13 selections disable ad requests while ordinary gameplay remains available.
For both 13–17 age bands, the game requests Google’s stronger child-protective advertising treatment and under-age-of-consent treatment. These settings restrict personalized advertising and identifier use. They do not make a promise that all technical data processing stops.
Consent and advertising choices
Where applicable, Google’s privacy messages are shown before an ad request is allowed. In Options, use Ad privacy choices to reopen available provider choices and Ad age band to change the stored age range. You can also use Android’s advertising-identifier controls. Consent or privacy screens may contact Google even if you do not finish watching an ad.
Changes apply through the relevant provider controls and do not automatically erase data collected previously. Google provides its own privacy-rights and deletion processes. Ad availability is not guaranteed; account review, connection failures, regional rules, and your choices can prevent an ad from being shown.
Reward records
An ad reward is applied only after the ad confirms it was earned and the game saves the result. Local reward records help prevent applying the same reward twice. If saving fails, use the offered retry. Closing the app before any successful save can lose an unsaved reward. Continuing depends on the current run session; the full course is not restored after the app process closes. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
Deleting local data and contacting us
Local game information remains until it is replaced or you remove it. Android Settings → Apps → Hacker’s Run → Storage → Clear data removes local progress, preferences, and reward records. Uninstalling also removes the app’s local data. This does not automatically remove information already handled by Google.
If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you include. We use it to respond, investigate a reported issue, and support the game. Do not send passwords, payment details, or unnecessary private information. We keep support messages only as needed to resolve and document the request or meet applicable obligations.
For privacy questions or requests about information you have provided to the studio, email contact.treadwaydigital@gmail.com. We may need enough information to verify a request. Because game progress is stored locally, we cannot remotely retrieve or erase a garden save from your device.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the game’s data practices change and revise the effective date above. The policy for an older build may differ from this version.
