PROJECT POLICIES
Before your project starts.
Know what is included, how payments work, and what happens if plans change.
This page explains the existing terms for custom project services. Your confirmed written quote and project agreement contain the details for your work. Read both before paying. Books, apps, and other store purchases follow the terms shown at their own checkout.
Agree on the work first.
The written quote and listed deliverables define the project. We confirm compatibility, availability, scope, price, applicable costs and taxes, and a project-specific schedule before accepting the job. Sending a request or building an estimate takes no payment and does not start work.
You supply the agreed content, approvals, and necessary access, and confirm that you have permission to use the materials you provide. Do not put passwords in the inquiry form.
Additional features, work outside the agreed scope, further revision rounds, paid assets, hosting, and third-party subscriptions need a separate written agreement. Delays or scope changes may require an agreed revised schedule.
Payments and when work starts
The standard arrangement
Pay 50% before work starts and the remaining 50% after you approve the work, before final handover. The required content and access must also be supplied before work begins. The final invoice is sent after approval; a saved card is not charged without authorization.
Review the confirmed scope, amount, and terms through your private project link. Before checkout, you enter your full legal name and separately accept the displayed agreement as an electronic signature. You can keep a copy using the agreement page’s print or save option, or ask the studio for a copy or a paper agreement before payment.
Monthly plans, when available
A selected monthly option has 10% down, followed by 3, 6, or 12 monthly installments for the remaining balance. The first installment is due one calendar month after the down payment, then monthly. The last installment accounts for cent rounding; the total does not exceed the agreed price. There is no added interest or automatic late fee.
The 10% down payment does not start project work. Work starts only when cleared payments reach at least 50% of the complete agreed project price and the required materials have been supplied. Cleared down payments and installments count toward that amount; pending, failed, or unpaid amounts do not.
After that threshold, work follows funded stages. Before each stage, both parties confirm the deliverables and the payment allocated to that stage in writing. We may pause when cleared funds do not cover the next stage, or when required materials or approvals are missing. Extra work needs written approval and funding before it starts.
Delivery dates must reflect the funded work schedule and final payment date. Final files, access, and handover remain with the studio until the agreed work is complete and every payment has cleared. A review preview is not final delivery.
A monthly arrangement requires separate authorization for Stripe to store the payment method and collect the displayed installments. Billing stops after the final scheduled installment. A failed payment remains unpaid and may delay delivery.
Late payments and undelivered files
There is a seven-calendar-day grace period after a payment’s due date, with no late fee. The amount is classified as delinquent only after that period. The grace period does not authorize unfunded work or final delivery before payment.
Undelivered project files are retained for two calendar months from the missed payment due date. If the amount remains unpaid at the end of that period, undelivered working and final files may be deleted, without a guarantee of recovery. We provide notice by project email before deletion. Contracts, invoices, and payment records are kept separately. This does not authorize deleting deliverables already paid for and handed over.
Review, revisions, and ownership
One free revision round is included after initial delivery. Send one consolidated request within 30 calendar days of initial delivery. It covers reasonable adjustments within the original scope.
New features, redesigns, additional platforms, third-party costs, and further revision rounds require a separate quote. The included revision gives us a chance to address correctable dissatisfaction; it does not remove any remedy required by law.
Final handover follows approval and cleared payment. Rights to custom deliverables transfer as agreed in the quote after full payment. Existing studio tools and third-party materials keep their own rights and licenses. We do not guarantee revenue, app-store approval, or search rankings.
Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel
Before final handover, you can cancel using the cancellation control on the private project page or by emailing the studio with the project reference.
Payments already made are forfeited on customer cancellation, except where a refund is required by applicable law or agreed in writing. No additional cancellation amount is charged, no unpaid installments are owed under this policy, and future plan billing is stopped. Undelivered work remains with the studio unless otherwise agreed.
Changing your mind, a budget change, choosing another provider, dissatisfaction that can be addressed within the agreed scope, or stopping after work has begun do not automatically entitle you to a refund. Extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed individually; any voluntary exception must be confirmed in writing. The studio confirms cancellation and any legally required refund.
If the studio cancels or cannot deliver
We notify you, stop future billing, and refund payments for undelivered work unless a lawful alternative is agreed. The customer cancellation policy does not let the studio keep payment for its own failure to perform.
These terms do not remove statutory consumer rights or a remedy for studio breach, and they do not mean forfeiture is enforceable in every jurisdiction. Tennessee law governs the agreement except where applicable mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. No term limits rights that cannot be waived, and changes require written agreement by both parties.
Optional monthly support
Ongoing support is separate from project installments. Basic is $39 per month, including a monthly manual health review and 30 minutes of minor changes. Advanced is $79 per month, including a review and one hour of minor changes. Special support is quoted for the work and allowance you need.
Unused time does not roll over. New features, redesigns, emergencies, and complex infrastructure are quoted separately. Hosting and domain management is $15 per month, plus disclosed provider and registration or renewal costs. Domain ownership stays with you.
We confirm compatibility and exact scope first. Support begins only after delivery, a separate service agreement, and recurring-payment authorization. It is month to month; cancel future renewals before the next billing date. Mandatory refund rights apply. Choosing an interest option in an inquiry does not create a subscription or authorize a charge.
